Euro1Net VoIP
(Voice-over-IP)
VoIP stands for Voice-over-IP and is a new way
of using the Internet to make and receive telephone calls either for free, or
at significantly reduced prices.
Making calls over the Internet has only really
become possible since the mass take up of broadband dial-up is just not fast
enough to facilitate a good quality voice call. Using a dedicated SIP phone now
eliminates the need for users of VoIP to have their PC switched on, as these
new style phones work independently, directly accessing the Internet through
any Ethernet based broadband modem such as the models we supply with our own
ADSL broadband products.
Working with our chosen communications partners
we are currently preparing a new VoIP service called SIPerior. This service is
due for launch in the near future and although no service specifics have been
published yet, it is likely the service will be available with the following
features: -
- Free VoIP to VoIP calls Package prices from
just £3.99 per month
- Optional inclusive UK local and national
calls included in the monthly price plan
- Optional UK mobile calls included in the
monthly price plan
- Savings of up to 95% on international
calls
- Multiple personal 0870 numbers available
- Voicemail service
- Web interface to configure, follow-me, call
diversion, call waiting and other services
- Online billing and payment process
The service will work with any standard UK
telephone handset, which will simply connect to a supplied SIPerior VoIP
adapter and away you go.
