New look for Pipex broadband
Pipex today launches a new look corporate identity, reflecting the changing communications landscape and the role of IP (Internet Protocol) for home-users and business customers. As the UK’s first commercial ISP, Pipex has grown to become one of the industry’s leading players, heading a new wave of communication companies powered by the growth of IP.
Pipex has integrated the new branding to reflect its full service offering, incorporating “Pipex for voice and broadband”, “Pipex for hosting” and “Pipex Network Services” for corporate managed services. The Pipex logo will also feature on Fulham FC’s team shirts next season.
The new branding follows the acquisition of Homecall from Caudwell Communications in March, adding over half a million users to Pipex’s customer base and providing a strong portfolio of voice services. Pipex is now established as one of the UK’s largest Internet and communications service providers with over 1,000,000 customers.
Mike Read, CEO of Pipex, comments, “We’re excited about our new corporate identity, which reflects our brand values and vibrancy. The Internet, communications and entertainment industries are converging, driven by power of IP – it’s an exciting time to be involved in this constantly changing market. We have a lot to look forward to on the technology front and, on a personal note, I am looking forward to the seeing the new logo on the Fulham shirts next season!”
