AOL boosts value for online consumers with Internet
and voice packages (22/09/05)
AOL has introduced a monthly discount
of £2.00 for all customers who take both voice and Internet from the UK's
leading online interactive services provider.
This comes alongside the
introduction of new price plans for users of AOL Talk following its successful
launch earlier this year.
From 1st October, all new and existing AOL
members subscribing to both Internet and voice services from AOL will benefit
from a £2.00 monthly discount, enabling them to get unlimited broadband
and phone calls from AOL for as little as £25.98 a month, with no set-up
fees.
David Carr, Senior Vice President of Access at AOL UK, said: "By
combining Internet and voice services, AOL is creating a compelling home
communications package, which delivers simplicity and increased
cost-effectiveness."
In addition, AOL has also announced a special
offer for broadband users who may be considering changing provider. Until
December 31, 2005, broadband customers of selected UK ISPs who move to AOL
Broadband will be given one month's free subscription to AOL Broadband Platinum
(up to 2Mbps), worth £29.99.
