IZR IZR
announces VoIP services
IZR Solutions Ltd. a business specific ISP
and provider of secure national and international VPN services today announced
the launch of it's Voice over IP (VoIP) service.
"Launching VoIP
services will add significant value to our customers networks, allowing them to
use their existing data network investment to use our network based telephone
switches without the need for a traditional BT telephone line." says Uwe
Nitsche, Joint Managing Director of IZR Solutions Ltd.
VoIP or
Voice-over-IP defines a a network based service that enables users to make
telephone calls via IP networks and often even the Internet. Voice signals are
converted to packets of data, which are transmitted on shared, public lines,
over existing private business networks, hence avoiding the cost of the
traditional, public-switched telephone network (PSTN).
VoIP applications
can generally be used with a simple microphone and computer speakers, but IP
telephones or VoIP adapter boxes can also be used, providing an experience
identical to traditional telephony. In the past year, the quality and
reliability of VoIP technology has improved to the point that vast numbers of
users have abandoned their standard telephone contracts entirely, in favour of
VoIP.
IZR Solutions provides customer a secure access to a central VoIP
gateway allowing free telephone calls between customers sites nationally and
internationally as well as free telephone calls between all IZR customers. In
addition a competitive rate for calls into the existing and mobile telephone
networks are available.
One unique speciality offered with this service
is the ability to provide geographic number for inbound calls. This means that
customers can have normal land line numbers to receive calls via our VoIP
service. For certain countries even international numbers are available. This
gives customers an instant international presence with a local number in a
foreign city.
"Customers can also migrate their existing telephone
numbers into the VoIP network allowing them to cancel their existing BT
telephone line without losing their existing telephone number. This feature
allows companies to move office and keep their existing and well known number
anywhere in the world." says Alistair Banks, IZR director of Business
Development
This technology is now available with guaranteed quality of
service (QoS) due to the recent launch by IZR of two way QoS bandwidth
guarantees on it's ADSL services.
IZR is offering these services in
cooperation with Call-UK, a voice specialist service provider with many years
experience in government VoIP services.
