Easynet announces PlusNet LLUStream

Easynet Group Plc, the pan-European broadband
networking company, announces today that it has partnered with major U.K. ISP
PlusNet to trial next generation broadband. PlusNet is the latest partner to
endorse LLUStream, Easynet’s wholesale LLU service.
During the
trial, the partnership will see PlusNet offer broadband products with speeds up
to 24Mb to its customer base within LLUStream service areas.

Strafford, PlusNet’s Chief Executive Officer said: “Easynet’s
LLUStream gives our customers the benefits delivered by Local Loop Unbundling,
without us having to make the costly LLU infrastructure investment ourselves.
We’re already well known for delivering great value; this trial means we
can offer the fastest broadband speeds available in the UK today.”
