GlowPoint
Expands IP-based Video with Easynet to over 250 European
locations
Easynet broadband is enabling the European expansion of
GlowPoint’s IP-based video to more than 250 locations across Europe with
its pan-European IP network. Glowpoint, Inc. is the world’s leading
broadcast-quality IP-based video communications service provider. The
relationship will significantly reduce cost for GlowPoint.
The
interconnection “peering” relationship between the companies enables
the delivery of GlowPoint’s “All You Can See” Unlimited Video
Calling Plans at lower costs in over 250 European cities and towns within
France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and other
countries throughout Europe.
The network peering arrangement with
Easynet will allow GlowPoint customers’ locations across Europe to
experience the same advanced IP-based interactive video communication features
and services as their US counterparts, including “000” Live Video
Operators, Direct Dial Video Numbers, Video Call Mailboxes, Video Call
Assistant Services and GlowPoint Global reduced rate international calling
plans.
The GlowPoint offering over Easynet’s infrastructure also
provides businesses throughout Europe with a more reliable alternative to
legacy ISDN connections and a more flexible video communication solution than
traditional VPN leased line connectivity.
